Dagenham is a place of big families and big get-togethers, and travel from here often means ten or twenty people heading to the same place at the same time. That is exactly the kind of journey a minibus or coach is built for, and it is where much of our Dagenham work comes from.
Moving a large party in one go
Splitting a group across a handful of cars means someone arrives late, someone gets lost and nobody travels together. A single vehicle fixes all three. Our minibuses seat 12 to 19, and our 33-seater and 57-seater executive coaches take larger groups.
- Birthday parties, anniversaries and christenings
- Family trips to the coast or the countryside
- Football and other sports club away days
- Community and social club outings
- School trips and leavers' events
The Becontree Estate and the streets around it
Much of Dagenham is made up of the Becontree Estate, laid out by the London County Council in the 1920s and 1930s with long, wide roads. The area is served by Becontree, Heathway and Dagenham East stations on the District line, Dagenham Dock on c2c and, at its northern edge, Chadwell Heath on the Elizabeth line. Whichever part you live in, we collect from your own street.
Work travel from the riverside
Dagenham's riverside includes large industrial and logistics sites, and a long association with the Ford engine plant. Businesses based here book us for staff and visitor transfers, and for guests flying in who need to be collected and brought straight to site. See our corporate chauffeur services for how that works.
Airports and the cruise terminal
London City is the closest of the London airports, and Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton are all regular destinations. Dagenham is also well placed for the cruise terminal at Tilbury, which we cover on our cruise port transfers page.
Weddings, proms and other special days
A wedding or prom does not have to mean a chauffeur-driven car for one person. For bridal parties and groups of friends, a minibus keeps everybody together, and a Rolls-Royce or Mercedes can be added for the couple. Any venue is fine; just tell us where.
Choosing the right size of vehicle
Count everyone who is travelling, adults and children, then add a little room for bags, prams and anything else you plan to bring. As a guide:
- Up to 16 people: a 12 to 16 seater minibus is usually enough
- Up to 19 people with more comfort: the 19-seater executive Sprinter, with leather seating and a fridge
- Up to 33 people: the 33-seater executive coach, with reclining seats, tables and USB charging
- Up to 57 people: the 57-seater executive coach, with an onboard toilet and a disabled access lift
Pick-ups from more than one street
In an area as big as Dagenham, a group often starts in several places. Tell us the addresses and the order that makes sense, and we will plan a single route that collects everyone, within the times that suit your event.
Days out from Dagenham
Popular trips for family and community groups include the Essex coast, Cambridge, Oxford and the Cotswolds. The day trips outside London page gives ideas, and we can help you plan the route and the return time.
